Treatment of Forehead Veins
Prominent forehead veins are very common in both men and women. I often hear from patients that they think that these veins are not treatable. This is untrue and, in fact, these veins can be treated very safely in an office procedure done under local anesthesia. There are two kinds of forehead veins, central forehead veins which are called supratrochlear veins and lateral forehead veins which are called supraorbital and temporal veins. All of these can be treated by sclerotherapy with excellent results.
